ALBUMS

Albums are available in several styles. At our initial meeting you can see samples of all of them. All can be made square, horizontal, or vertical, and in almost any size you want. Most of the albums have a wide array of cover options, including real leather, vegan-leather, brocade, bookcloth, sheer Plexiglas, and even printed metal. I am happy to guide you if you feel overwhelmed!

Eco Albums:
Beautiful, archival, and earth-friendly. Giclée-printed using lightfast, solvent-free inks on a natural matte paper. All materials are acid-free, sustainably sourced and/or recycled, and nontoxic. Covers available in various handmade papers, bookcloths, or bonded leather (made from tannery leather fibers which otherwise would go into a landfill). Pages are thick yet flexible paper, and lay flat when open with no gap in the middle.

Magazine-Style Albums:
Each layout, with one or more images, is printed as a photographic print, then mounted on thick, unbending archival board. I like to design them with some space around the images, and so some pages will have one large image, some several smaller ones, etc.
I offer 3 kinds of “magazine-style” albums:
Finao Elements, which are less expensive, are available with gorgeous brocade covers as well as other choices. They differ from the other two in that there is a small gap between where the photo print ends and the edge of the page – i.e. a thin, lower border of matboard all around the page/print.
The Finao One and Capri Modern Image Book both have prints that are flush to the edge of the page. Finao One has a more modern selection of cover choices, and the Capri Book is more traditional.

Bookstore-Style Albums:
Like a coffee-table book with paper pages and a hard cover. Printed by a high-quality on-demand publisher, this is your best budget-friendly option if you want lots of photos (even hundreds).
The price covers mainly my time in designing the book, and so additional copies are just $100 each (perfect if you want to give album copies to your family).
This type of album, unlike my other offerings, is available directly to the consumer, so if you don’t want to buy an album from me this is an option you could design and order yourself from your Hi-Res CD. Also available as a proof book, with 600 photos in a basic grid layout.

Mounted Albums:
Each print is mounted onto an archival matboard inside a recessed window cut 1/8” larger all around. Choose from black, ivory, or white pages, and the border (“liner”) around it can be gold, silver, white, or black. My examples show black page with gold liner, and black page with black liner, both with gold page edges. This album has the classic, elegant feel of matted art prints.
